*Drum-rolls* and *Trumpets*
All you lovely people out there! Are you ready for a Fashion-explosion in this space? *Smiles*
It’s my pleasure to share with you all that Chandni at Sheikh-land is the Official Blogger for NUMAISH -the Winter Show coming up on 14th December 2013. Crowned as ‘the Revivalists’, Numaish is the proud ambassador and a successful one for bringing heritage to the fore.
Being appreciated across all media-giants like Sony, Zee Connect,Khaleej Times, the Gulf news for their incredible contribution towards promoting the concept of ‘wearing heritage on sleeves’ and for presenting an interesting blend of designers, I am delighted to bring to you some Numaish-exclusives in this space.
Apart from the sun and the sea, the one thing that the Sheikhland is very famous for is its ‘Glamour-quotient’. The glitter and the glitz of this fashion-loving city is no news and I am pretty impressed with the way people celebrate fashion here. Not to forget about the love for art exhibited with a lot of passion as well. And Numaish has been doing a beautiful, rather a fashionable job of bringing in high fashion at affordable prices for the Sheikhlanders showcasing an array of designers all under one roof.
Now, in the capacity of the Official Blogger for Numaish, I take immense pride in introducing to you all a sneak-peek into the awesomess coming your way this 14th December 2013 at the Address, Dubai Mall.
Are you ready people? 🙂
So, to begin with, let me present to you an ambitious young designer who has taken the fashion-world by storm – Ladies and Gentlemen! That’s Masaba Gupta for you and she is all set to cast ‘the Masaba-Magic’ on you on 14th December 2014 at Numaish with her latest collection!
At 24, she is undoubtedly reckoned as one of the most promising designers in today’s times. With fashionistas like Sonam Kapoor and Jacqueline Frenandez in her glamorous list of clientele, Masaba is the youngest Fashion Director at Satya Paul.
Masaba made her entry in the industry with GenNext fashion show at Lakme Fashion Week 2009. Her collection made her win the most promising designer award at the event. It was followed by the launch of her store in 2010.
A fashion-world-favourite these days, Masaba is known for quirky prints, with feminine drapes and silhouettes. Masaba likes to play with organic fabrics with classic weaves, patchwork in her designs and her USP is how she presents it all in vibrant colours.
