A city that never sleeps, a city where cultures across the world meet, a city where fashion is celebrated, a city where art is appreciated – My city – DUBAI.
My city … that Iove to write about, that I love to click, that I love to live in and that I call ‘the Sheikhland’.
And today, yet again I am loving to bring to you a side of the city that I have never discussed before in this space – Dubai’s love for art and a few days back Noon Art Boutique Hotel Apartments did a magnificent job of bringing in art in the apartments.
It was an absolute honour for me to have been invited to the launch party.
THE Mohammad Ahmad Al Murr and HE Abdullah Ghobash officially opened the hotel apartments in the presence of other high-profile individuals, artists and media, at the invitation-only launch.
With its bespoke artistry and unique craftsmanship adorning every element of the exquisite boutique hotel apartments, Monday’s launch welcomed an exclusive guest list. His Excellency Mohammad Ahmad Al Murr, President of the National Federal Council, and His Excellency Abdullah Ghobash, Minister of State, opened the night’s proceedings by performing the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Noon Art Boutique Hotel Apartments, located in Al Barsha, possesses 45 beautifully appointed suites. The 15 one-bedroom, 25 two-bedroom and five three-bedroom luxury suites are arranged across 12 immaculately designed floors. The roof of the building houses a swimming pool and jacuzzi, whilst additional facilities include a state-of-the-art gym, sauna, restaurant and café.
An exclusive guest list included Dr. Rafea Ghabash – founder of The Women’s Museum in Dubai, and herself a passionate supporter of local art. All attendees were treated to live musical entertainment, canapés, refreshments, and three on-site artists – Anita Jane Scott, Fiona Mackenzie and Thaer Mahdi – who wowed those present with their live artistic creations. There was also a guided tour of the suites which started on the first floor of the building – and a showcase of impressive local art and culture.
Rasha Al Mutawa and Haresh A Dhanani, Joint Managing Directors of Noon Hotel Apartments, were in attendance to oversee the launch. Rasha Al Mutawa enthused: “A lot of hard work from many individuals has gone in to reaching this stage. We are very excited to be able to offer such a unique experience to Dubai. The Noon Art Boutique Hotel Apartments concept has been created to showcase and share the finest local art and culture in this vibrant and ever-expanding city.”
The launch party was a celebration of art in a unique way. They had the most amazing orchestra playing beautiful violin tunes. Check out the video here –
