Fashion over High Tea – Marks & Spencer Presents Its Spring’15 Collection

Flattering Fashion over splendid High Tea – now how does that sound to you? Yummy … isn’t it?

Well, it indeed was a fashionably yummilicious calling to the Spring with renowned brand Marks & Spencer recently hosting a preview of its Spring’15 collection.

The venue was the gorgeous Meydan Beach at the JBR Walk.

A relaxed spring vibe whilst sipping tea, savouring the delicious cupcakes and enjoying fashion on the runway – an afternoon cannot get any better.

Talking about the fashion now, I loved how womenswear collection had an interesting play with a variety of prints from florals to abstract graphics to flirty polka dots.

There was something for every woman – the one who likes to dress up, the one who is more into casual clothings, the one who is feminine or the one for whom comfort is the main element.

Colour is given a seasonal overhaul as the redefined neutrals- warm tans, textured blues and a spectrum of pinks creates the tone of the landscape.

Going on to the menswear collection now which was a contemporary combination of formal and casual pieces styled together to create a relaxed, understated look for the season.

Casualwear smartens up with modern interpretations on classic pieces, with the focus on clean lines, fine summer fabrics and masculine iconic styles, worn in a new tonal colour palette.

Overall the collection had a fresh laid-back tone about it.

Some of the trends that were spotted were the Hippy style of the ’70s summer of love’, the soft play of laces and sheer fabrics giving us the ‘Modern Romance’, ‘Orient’ with the oriental prints and the classic ‘stripes’ in refreshing hues.

The collection is now available in Marks & Spencer stores across GCC.

Which is your favourite outfit from this collection?

Until I see you next,

Stay fashionable!
